Other things done on this trip included almost getting run over by bikes, taking silly old school ID photos at a Photoautomat, trying to avoid sunburn, watching hilarious installations, eating the best chocolate cake ever here, disconnecting completely from the internet and tv…

My body has really changed by now, see my belly poking out on my previous post. In consequence, the nearby shops that would normally have been very tempting (APC, COS, Sessùn and more) didn’t have the same appeal. Instead, we splurged on a Marimekko outfit for the baby.

We spent most of Sunday with MeiLi, her husband Nick and their damn cute daughters Vera and Nora.
I think I’ve written it before, but MeiLi and I had been pen-friends since high school (around 1993 maybe, she was living in Malaysia), we’ve been in touch all those years but this was the first time we actually met. Thank you guys for the lovely time spent together!
