As you can see, I loved books from a very young age! This picture was taken on my second birthday. This is the book I had been offered by my grandparents. I still like it very much.

    The month after your second birthday, for my fourth, Mum made me a birthday cake in the (3D) shape of a Ford Fiesta. Bright green. I loved cars at that age, and that was the type my grandparents drove. It was a brilliant cake, but the obsession with cars didn’t last.
